After low-scoring totals in their previous five contests, Newberry brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They never let the Fairfield Central Griffins get on the board and left with an 11-0 win on Wednesday. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Griffins, too.

Newberry's offense was hitting Fairfield Central from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Carly Rivers led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Newberry's victory bumped their record up to 2-3-1. As for Fairfield Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Newberry wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Clinton on the 13th. As for Fairfield Central, they have also already played their next contest, a 13-0 loss against Great Falls on the 17th.
