Basketball Recap: Maud Comes Up Short

Maud lost against Bowie back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Maud Cardinals were beaten by the Bowie Pirates 65-12. The Cardinals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-3.

Brooklyn Osborne was Maud's leading scorer, having posted five points.

Maud has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season. As for Bowie, they pushed their record up to 22-8 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home.

Maud has already played their next match, a 36-33 defeat against Rivercrest on the 31st. As for Bowie, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 51-48 win against Clarksville on the 31st.
