Basketball Recap: North Tonawanda's Run of Six Straight Victories Now Over

It was a good run, but North Tonawanda unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to the Kenmore West Blue Devils 56-52. The match marked the Lumberjacks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

North Tonawanda lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Annabelle Day, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 14 boards. The game was Day's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Lilly Day was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.

North Tonawanda's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 11-2. As for Kenmore West, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
