Johnson Central waltzed into their match on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Barberton Magics by a score of 6-3.

Johnson Central's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Adyson Burchett, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. What's more, Burchett posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in May of 2024. Shelby Arnett also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Johnson Central now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Barberton, their record is now 1-1.

Coincidentally, Johnson Central and Barberton will both be playing Winfield the next time they take the field. The Golden Eagles will host the Generals at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, while the Magics will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
