After a string of ten wins, Jefferson's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They had to suffer through a 68-38 loss at the hands of the Amity Warriors. The matchup was a 26-26 toss-up at halftime, but the Lions couldn't quite close it out.

Jefferson's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 11-4. As for Amity, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.

Jefferson and Amity should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oregon Rankings. Jefferson will square off against Sheridan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 123 places (37 vs. 160). Jefferson is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Similarly, Amity (ranked seventh) will meet Dayton (ranked 96th) at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
