It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Thousand Islands ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They never let the Carthage Comets get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The result kept Thousand Islands happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 25th.

Thousand Islands has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five matches. As for Carthage, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thousand Islands will host South Lewis at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carthage, they will challenge Gouverneur at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
