            Elsinore hasn't had much luck against Great Oak recently, but that could start to change  on Wednesday. The Elsinore Tigers will be home for the holidays to greet the Great Oak Wolfpack  at 7:00  p.m. One thing working in Elsinore's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  in their last five matchups.
Elsinore took a loss when they played away from home  last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Friday. They came out on top against Paloma Valley by a score of  65-55. The Tigers pushed the score to  57-33 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wildcats cut but never quite recovered from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Elsinore to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Ladarian Watkins, who  went 8 of 15  on his way to 17  points along with five  boards and three  steals. Watkins has been hot recently, having  posted two or more  steals the last three times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brandon Boatman, who  dropped  a double-double on 14 points and 11  boards.
 Elsinore  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 15  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 11  offensive boards in five consecutive  contests.
 Meanwhile, Great Oak had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding  70-31 win over the Eagles. The Wolfpack have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight  games by 32  points or more this season.
 Great Oak's victory was  their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 9-3. As for Elsinore,  the  win  got them back to even at 5-5.
