Volleyball Recap: Fairview Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Grove City on Thursday, Fairview came back down to earth. The Tigers fell just short of the Iroquois Braves by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Fairview sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19.

Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Iroquois, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Fairview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win against Warren on the 30th. As for Iroquois, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Northwestern on the 30th.
