Volleyball Game Preview: Weber Warriors vs. Farmington Phoenix

Weber is 0-3 against Farmington since April of 2024 but things could change on Tuesday. The Warriors will challenge the Phoenix at 5:00 p.m. Weber will be strutting in after a win while Farmington will be coming in after a loss.

Weber is headed into the game having just posted their closest victory since March 6th on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Layton. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (113-108) Weber actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 29-27, 26-24, 19-25, 19-25, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Farmington didn't have quite enough to beat Sky View on Saturday and fell 2-1. While the Phoenix didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bobcats 25-13 in the first set.

Farmington actually scored more points across those three sets (56-53), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-20, 15-11.

Farmington's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-7. As for Weber, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.
