Softball Game Preview: Fisher Bunnies vs. Deer Creek-Mackinaw Chiefs

The Fisher Bunnies are taking a road trip to face off against the Deer Creek-Mackinaw Chiefs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Fisher hasn't scored more than a single run for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

On Wednesday, Fisher came up short against Tri-Valley and fell 5-1.

Meanwhile, Deer Creek-Mackinaw also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Midwest Central/Illini Central by a score of 10-6.

Byrkleigh Kraft was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-4. Rudy Gilbert was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Fisher's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for Deer Creek-Mackinaw, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.
