            The Othello Huskies will take on the Ephrata Tigers at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The timing is sure in Othello's favor as the  team sits on six straight wins at home while Ephrata has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
Othello's pitching crew heads into the  game  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Tuesday. They blew past Quincy 10-0. Considering the Huskies have won seven contests by more than five  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Aiden Garza tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only two  hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched.

 At the plate,  Xzyyvn Martinez was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  RBI (three). Another player making a difference was  Ryan Martinez, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Othello  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Quincy only posted  an  OBP of  .167.
 Meanwhile, Ephrata fell victim to East Valley and their airtight pitching crew  on Tuesday. They came up short against  the Red Devils, falling  14-0.
 Othello's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Ephrata, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.
 Everything went Othello's way against Ephrata in their previous meeting  back in May of 2024, as Othello made off with  a  12-2 victory. Will the Huskies repeat their success,  or do  the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
