The Keene Chargers humbled the UME Preparatory Academy EAGLES with a 44-14 victory. Considering the Chargers have won five contests by more than 29 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Daiden Duncan threw for 85 yards. Dalton Benkim was his top target, picking up 45 receiving yards. On the ground, Payton Burkett rushed for 131 yards and four scores on only ten carries.

The win made it two in a row for Keene and bumps their season record up to 5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 14 points in those games. As for UME Preparatory Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Keene will face off against New Braunfels Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for UME Preparatory Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Newman International Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. The EAGLES will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 46.17 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
