Basketball Game Preview: Fowler Grizzlies vs. Custer County Bobcats

The Fowler Grizzlies and the Custer County Bobcats will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. Custer County took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Fowler, who comes in off a win.

Fowler picked up another tournament win on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Rye 47-44.

Fowler found their leader in sophomore Connor Campbell, who posted 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Campbell has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Joe Salvo, who put up 11 points.

Meanwhile, Custer County was just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 53-52 to Frontier Academy. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fowler now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Custer County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
