Soccer Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 11-0 to the Pleasant Valley Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Clinton of the 11-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 0-9-1. As for Pleasant Valley, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clinton will venture away from home to challenge Rock Island at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pleasant Valley, they will head out to take on Linn-Mar at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
