On Friday Jerry Castro racked up double-digit total tackles for the very first time. He made ten total tackles (2.0 for loss), helping propel Rockwall past Royse City by a score of 48-31. That new high-mark topped his previous career-best: nine total tackles, set last Thursday.

Coming up, Castro and Rockwall will welcome Longview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Castro had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup back in October of 2024 63-34.
