Yale typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday North Branch proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Broncos as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

North Branch was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-16, 25-17.

Aubree Deshetsky paced North Branch's offense, picking up 22 kills. Deshetsky got some help from Kylie Doherty and her 31 assists. Hannah Thomas controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

North Branch's record is now 22-6. As for Yale, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 20-9.

North Branch wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Montini Catholic on the 3rd. Yale has also already played their next matchup (against Hartland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
