Softball Recap: Ferguson Takes a Loss

Ferguson lost against American back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Falcons fell 8-3 to the Patriots. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ferguson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Nieves, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Ferguson's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for American, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

Looking ahead, Ferguson will head out to square off against Hialeah Gardens at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gladiators have averaged an impressive 11.4 runs per game this season. As for American, they will welcome Key West at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Patriots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Conchs have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season.
