Softball Recap: Stoneman Douglas Falls Short of Coral Glades in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Stoneman Douglas can now relate to. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coral Glades Jaguars on Monday. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Jaguars earlier this season, when they won 6-4.

Stoneman Douglas saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Zajkowski, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Stoneman Douglas has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season. As for Coral Glades, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-10.

As of now, neither Stoneman Douglas nor the Jaguars have any future games scheduled.
