While Poway's victory against Mission Hills wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Titans narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Grizzlies 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Titans have posted since April 3rd.

Aubrey Stiritz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 22 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Paityn Vidano was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Poway's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-14. As for Mission Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Poway is set to face off against their familiar foe Rancho Bernardo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mission Hills will take on rival San Marcos at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
