Churchland won the last time they faced Lake Taylor and things went their way on Monday too. The Truckers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Titans.

In the three sets Churchland was on fire: they won each by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 15-25, 25-11, 25-11.

Aiyana Samuels paced Churchland's offense, picking up ten kills. Samuels got some help from Adriana Lomonaco and her eight assists. Samuels was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Churchland's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Lake Taylor, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Churchland is set to face off against their familiar foe Maury at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Lake Taylor will take on rival Manor at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
