Cranston East is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They took a blow against East Providence, falling 45-16.

Meanwhile, Rogers faced Narragansett in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. Rogers was beaten by Narragansett 51-23.

Cranston East's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Rogers, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Things could have been worse for Cranston East, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 51-37 loss to Rogers when the teams last played back in February of 2022. Can Cranston East avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
