Basketball Recap: L'Anse Creuse North Comes Up Short

L'Anse Creuse North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 65-57 to the Romeo Bulldogs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Crusaders came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 128th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 263rd).

L'Anse Creuse North's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Romeo, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season.

L'Anse Creuse North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-50 win against Hazel Park on the 8th. As for Romeo, they have also already played their next game, a 53-49 victory against Stoney Creek on the 10th.
