Soccer Recap: Coast Union Comes Up Short

Coast Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Bishop Diego Cardinals, falling 5-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Bishop Diego this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in December of 2025.

Coast Union's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Bishop Diego, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3-2 record this season.

Coast Union will be playing in front of their home fans against Dunn at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop Diego, they will venture away from home to face off against Del Sol at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
