Randolph lost against Cole back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Randolph Ro-Hawks fell to the Cole Cougars 48-43. The Ro-Hawks' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Cole's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Avaya Brundidge, who went 9 of 12 on her way to 21 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave Brundidge a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Aniya Tillman, who posted 12 points and five steals.

Randolph's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-13. As for Cole, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-14 record this season.

Randolph will host Long Creek at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cole, they will head out to face off against Great Hearts Northern Oaks at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
