Volleyball Recap: Wilmington Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Wilmington and Western Brown, and Western Brown kept the tradition alive. The Hurricane fell 3-1 to the Broncos on Thursday. The Hurricane were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Broncos apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Wilmington now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Western Brown, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wilmington is set to challenge their familiar foe Goshen at 6:16 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Western Brown will take on rival Clinton-Massie at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
