Softball Game Preview: Dowling Catholic Maroons vs. Waukee Warriors

Dowling Catholic hasn't had much luck against Waukee recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Maroons will look to defend their home field against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Waukee took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Dowling Catholic, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Dowling Catholic turned things around against Clarke on Friday. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Indians.

Meanwhile, Waukee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 4-0 to Southeast Polk.

Dowling Catholic's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Waukee, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
