Volleyball Recap: Hardee's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Hardee lost against Southeast back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Seminoles. The loss put an end to the Wildcats' undefeated start to the season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-18.

Leading Southeast to victory were Layla Holmbeck and Mellise Bush. Holmbeck had 30 assists and seven digs, while Bush had ten digs and two aces. That's the most digs Holmbeck has posted since back in September of 2024.

Hardee's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Southeast, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hardee will take on Sebring at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Southeast, they will challenge Inspiration Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
