Destiny Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They beat the Wheatland Pirates by a goal, winning 4-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

They hit Wheatland with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gabriel Resleo (2), Nano Johnson, and Garrett Gatewood.

Destiny Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-3-1. As for Wheatland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-2 record this season.

Destiny Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against El Camino on the 16th. As for Wheatland, they will be home for the holidays to greet Center at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Wheatland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.
