Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask AGWSR). They put the hurt on the South Hardin Tigers with a sharp 16-7 victory on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Cougars have posted against the Tigers since June 24, 2019.

AGWSR's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for South Hardin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

AGWSR has already played their next game, a 9-1 defeat against North Butler on the 6th. As for South Hardin, they will face off against East Marshall at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 1.3 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
