Madison is 9-1 against Rigby since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Madison Bobcats will head out to challenge the Rigby Trojans at 7:30 p.m. Madison will be looking to extend their current 14-game winning streak.

Madison is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing Highland: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Madison blew Highland out of the water with a 76-48 final score. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Bobcats have posted since December 18, 2024.

Meanwhile, Rigby earned a 63-53 victory over Canyon Ridge on Friday. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Riverhawks are ranked 91st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Madison's win was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points per game. As for Rigby, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.

Madison skirted past Rigby 78-76 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Madison since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
