Volleyball Recap: Gabriel Richard Comes Up Short

Gabriel Richard lost against Chelsea on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Fighting Irish took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Fighting Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gabriel Richard's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Chelsea, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Gabriel Richard will venture away from home to take on Lutheran at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Fighting Irish surely won't give up without a fight. As for Chelsea, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tecumseh at 7:00 p.m. on September 9.
