Volleyball Recap: GlenOak Takes a Loss

GlenOak lost against Jackson back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles lost 3-0 to the Polar Bears.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-11, 25-14.

Despite the defeat, GlenOak saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Mya Smith had 11 digs. Smith is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played dating back to last season.

GlenOak's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Jackson, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. GlenOak will square off against rival Lake at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Jackson is set to challenge their familiar foe Perry at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
