Volleyball Recap: Rocky Mount Gryphons vs. Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets        
        
		
             Rocky Mount was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight  defeat. They came up short against  the Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets, falling  3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gryphons of the  3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in September.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-12,  25-10.
 Rocky Mount lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Braylie Phillips, who  had 25  assists. The team also got some help courtesy of  Trinity Dunn, who  had nine  kills and three  digs.
 Rocky Mount's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Roanoke Rapids,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 11-4.
 Rocky Mount has already played their next game,  a  3-2  loss against Southern Nash on the 3rd. As for Roanoke Rapids, they will challenge Bunn at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
