Volleyball Recap: Davenport's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Davenport had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Roosevelt Academy Eagles.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Davenport took both sets by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-11.

Davenport's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Roosevelt Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Davenport will square off against Frostproof at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Roosevelt Academy, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will challenge Lake Wales at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
