Basketball Recap: Chester-Joplin-Inverness Gets the Win

Chester-Joplin-Inverness proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by 26) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 47-45 win over the Chinook Beeters. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Hawks have posted since December 15, 2023.

Chester-Joplin-Inverness' record is now 6-1. As for Chinook, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-2.

Chester-Joplin-Inverness didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-42 loss against North Star on the 17th. Chinook has also already played their next contest, a 72-17 win against Conrad on the 18th.
