Volleyball Recap: Pocono Mountain West Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Pocono Mountain West lost against Northampton back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Konkrete Kids. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 22, 2019, but that streak is no more.

While Pocono Mountain West was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-17, 25-20.

Madison Clark paced Pocono Mountain West's offense, picking up seven kills. Clark got some help from Mya Olizarowicz and her 14 assists. Ava Wilkinson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Pocono Mountain West's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Northampton, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5-1.

Coming up, Pocono Mountain West will welcome East Stroudsburg North at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northampton, they will venture away from home to square off against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
