It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Vergennes can now relate to. They took a 63-45 bruising from the Oxbow Olympians on Saturday. The Commodores' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Vergennes now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Oxbow, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-2.

Vergennes does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oxbow, they will face off against Peoples Academy on Thursday. Oxbow knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Peoples Academy likes a good challenge.
