Football Recap: Kennedy Takes a Loss

If Kennedy was feeling good fresh off their 49-14 takedown of Roslyn/Friends Academy last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars were beaten by the New Hyde Park Memorial Gladiators 54-14 on Saturday. The Cougars have struggled against the Gladiators recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for New Hyde Park Memorial, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4.

Looking ahead, Kennedy will challenge MacArthur on Saturday. As for New Hyde Park Memorial, they will square off against Garden City on Saturday. The Gladiators will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
