            Softball Recap: Allendale Falcons vs. Kenowa Hills Knights        
        
		
        
        
            Allendale was handed a heart-breaking two-run  loss in their last  matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Kenowa Hills  on Thursday. The Falcons were the clear victors by  a  14-1 margin over the Knights. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Falcons' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
The team  relied heavily on  Kenedie Curtis, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with three  stolen bases, four  runs,  and two  RBI. She also put up a  double, which was her first of the season.  Lexie Gunter was another key player,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double.
 Allendale  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kenowa Hills only posted  an  OBP of  .067.

Allendale pushed their record up to 5-4 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  on the road dating back to last season. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Kenowa Hills,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-6.
