Basketball Recap: Martensdale-St. Mary's Extends Winning Streak to Five

Martensdale-St. Mary had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They blew past the East Union Eagles 43-22. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Devils also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Martensdale-St. Mary's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.7 points per game.
