Carson Grier put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March of 2024 on Friday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.
