Basketball Recap: Newark Comes Up Short

Newark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were beaten by the St. Andrew's Cardinals 43-3. The contest marked the Yellowjackets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Newark's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for St. Andrew's, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Newark will look to defend their home court on Friday against Christiana at 3:30 p.m. As for St. Andrew's, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 49-41 victory against Red Lion Christian Academy on the 18th.
