Soccer Recap: Satellite Takes a Loss

Satellite and Bishop Moore squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Satellite had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bishop Moore Hornets, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Scorpions in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now lost four in a row.

Satellite's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Bishop Moore, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 24-3.

Satellite does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Moore, they will square off against Mater Lakes Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Mater Lakes Academy knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past eight matches -- so hopefully Bishop Moore likes a good challenge.
