Kenston Forest piles up the points against Fuqua

Recap: Kenston Forest Kavaliers vs. Fuqua Falcons

The Kenston Forest Kavaliers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Fuqua 100-25 on the road. Kenston Forest has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 28 points or more this season.

Kenston Forest was led to victory by Anderson Allen and Dayton Williams Jr. Allen scored 21 points along with seven steals, while Williams Jr scored 25 points along with six steals. Williams Jr hasn't dropped below three steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Graham Sledd, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.

Kenston Forest used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Fuqua. Three players got more time on the court than they're used to: Chandler Davis (seven), Johah Archambault (seven), and Reid Thomas (12). The trio had averaged 2.07, 3.23, and 5.07 minutes respectively before Tuesday's game. Archambault made the most of the opportunity, scoring six points. A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

Kenston Forest has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Fuqua, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.

Kenston Forest will head out on the road to face off against New Covenant at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Kenston Forest will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something New Covenant surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fuqua, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Cumberland at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st. Hopefully Fuqua focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 47 on Tuesday.
