Recap: Flint River Academy Wildcats vs. St. George's
The Flint River Academy Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They suffered a tough 37-12 loss at the hands of St. George. Flint River Academy has struggled against St. George's recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Flint River Academy saw an underclassman step up: Reagan Riner scored ten points along with six rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Riner has scored all season.
Flint River Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for St. George's, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-6.
Flint River Academy will be playing at home against Lafayette Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Lafayette Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday. As for St. George's, they will head out on the road to take on Piedmont Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
