Volleyball Recap: Trinity Presbyterian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Trinity Presbyterian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Auburn Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on September 2nd.

Trinity Presbyterian took Auburn into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking ten-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 23-25, 19-25, 15-5.

Trinity Presbyterian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Auburn, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-10.

Looking ahead, Trinity Presbyterian will face off against Montgomery Catholic at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Auburn, they will square off against Opelika at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
