Big Game from Acosta As Ashley Ridge Won 48-35
Starting off the list is Ashley Ridge's Jayden Acosta, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Acosta rushed for 134 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 32 receiving yards. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season.
This year, Acosta has averaged 23.8 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 92 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 150.33 rushing yards.

Ryan Campbell's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
Ryan Campbell posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 218 yards while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 53 yards.
Ashley Ridge had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Campbell it was a similar story. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Campbell saw the Swamp Foxes), he rushed for 191 yards on only 15 carries.

Trevor Kalisz Makes It Two for Ashley Ridge
Another Ashley Ridge player making an appearance on this list is Trevor Kalisz. He threw for 346 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.9% of his passes.
If the past is any indication, Kalisz could be in store for another big game when he takes on Stall on Friday. Kalisz threw for 251 yards and five touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes the last time he and the Warriors duked it out back in October of 2023.

Another Ashley Ridge player making an appearance on this list is Jaiden Deweese. He picked up 151 receiving yards, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

Malquan Pimentel Jr Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Fort Dorchester had to settle for second even though Malquan Pimentel Jr put up the best numbers he has all season. Pimentel Jr picked up 0.5 sacks, forced a fumble, and made seven total tackles. He is becoming a predictor of Fort Dorchester's success: when he posts at least four total tackles the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
This season, Pimentel Jr has averaged 4.2 total tackles per game and for the season has those 0.5 sacks.
