Softball Recap: Skowhegan's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Skowhegan was the 14-4 winner over Brewer when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The River Hawks took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Witches on Friday. The loss was the River Hawks' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Skowhegan fell to 3-1. As for Brewer, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Skowhegan is set to square off against their familiar foe Edward Little at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Brewer will take on rival Bangor at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
