Soccer Recap: North Tahoe vs. Elko
North Tahoe had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Elko Indians on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lakers also won the last time the pair played back in August.
Santiago Quezada and
Alex Guerrero scored all three of North Tahoe's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 47 goals.
The win (which was North Tahoe's sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-2-3. As for Elko, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-4-1.
North Tahoe wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against South Tahoe on the 2nd. Elko does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
