Soccer Game Preview: La Center vs. Onalaska

The La Center Wildcats will square off against the Onalaska Loggers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. La Center is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.

La Center made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Toledo, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Indians on Saturday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for La Center considering their one-goal performance the match before.

They hit Toledo with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Callum Bradley (2), Gavin Cole, Chemo Esquivel-Soto, and Ian Johnson.

Meanwhile, Onalaska was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Kalama.

La Center's win bumped their record up to 5-2-2. As for Onalaska, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything went La Center's way against Onalaska in their previous meeting back in March, as La Center made off with a 7-0 victory. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Loggers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
